BARTLEBY THE SCRIVENER

A series of editorial illustrations made for Herman Melville’s short story, “Bartleby, the Scrivener: A Story of Wallstreet”. These measure 8.5″ x 11″, and were made using graphite, gouache, and white acrylic paint. Several are also shown here in black and white- these are my original graphite drawings, a step before paint was added.
